New Online Library for Teens and Young Adults

The Windsor Essex Community Health Centre - Teen Health has launched a new online resource to help people ages 12 to 24 find important health information. The David Jaggs E-library is helping young people access accurate information about physical and mental health issues important to them.

The website, which can be found at www.davidjaggslibrary.org, lists a growing resource category guide including:
  • Sexual health
  • Eating disorders
  • Mental health
  • Drug and Alcohol
  • Community resources
  • Nutrition & physical activity
  • General health
  • Teen health services
  • Resources for caregivers & educators
  • LGBTQ
“The E-Library is a trusted source where young people can access accurate information that has been vetted through our very own inter-disciplinary team” said Dr. Glenn Bartlett, Executive Director, WE CHC. “People can access the website through their computer, tablet, or mobile device and find the answers they are searching for.”

The library features written articles, PDF resources, and streaming videos. Visitors also have the option of registering on the website to access enhanced features such as custom bookmarking and rating feedback.
