Erie St. Clair LHIN Seeking Input into Addiction Strategic Plan

To help improve care for people who suffer from an addiction, the Erie St. Clair LHIN is seeking input on what is working and what changes the public would like to see in our local addiction support services. We appreciate that those experiencing addiction challenges have a better understanding of their care needs. With that being said, we would like to hear from people who have addiction challenges, as well as family members and caregivers.

“We know there is work to be done to improve addiction support services in the Erie St. Clair region. The first step in improving care is hearing first-hand from our residents about what is working and what needs to change.”
— Gary Switzer, CEO, Erie St. Clair LHIN

“It is important to understand that addictions affect everyone in some way, and it takes all health care partners working together to develop strategies to improve addiction services locally. We look forward to continuing our work with the Addiction Strategic Plan, knowing our strategies and decisions have been informed by those experiencing addiction challenges first-hand.”
— Dawn Maziak, Health System Design Manager and Mental Health & Addictions Lead, Erie St. Clair LHIN
