Wallace (Wally) Hogan Joins the Erie St. Clair LHIN Board

Wallace Hogan, or as most people call him – Wally - has been appointed as the newest member of the Erie St. Clair (ESC) LHIN Board of Directors. The Order-in-Council was approved and ordered by the Lieutenant Governor in Council on October 18, 2017. Wally, a resident of Kingsville, has had the opportunity to be welcomed by Board Chair Martin Girash and will be attending his first Open Board meeting later this year.

With the addition of Wally, the Erie St. Clair LHIN Board now has a compliment of ten of a potential twelve Board members. The members represent a wide cross-section of rural and urban communities from across Chatham-Kent, Sarnia/Lambton, and Windsor/Essex.

Wally Hogan, B.Comm, CMC, is the owner and practicing principal of Hogan Consulting, an advisory in business and information technology transformation. As a Certified Management Consultant, Wally has been practicing since 2011.

Wally has enjoyed a 30-year career in the high technology industry having held Canadian, North American, and Global executive positions with IBM, Novell, and Hewlett-Packard (HP). Wally began his career with IBM in Windsor, Ontario, where he would later return to lead IBM's operations in Windsor/Essex, Chatham/Kent, and Sarnia/Lambton. In the last ten years, Wally has been working closely with the health care sector, providing IT services and operational support to several large primary care providers, and provincial agencies.

Throughout his career, Wally volunteered in support of many charitable causes, including serving as Chair for United Way campaigns while at IBM and HP. In addition, he served as a founding member of HP's Executive Diversity Council in Canada.

An avid sailor and certified yachtmaster, Wally has served as a Board Director for Ontario Sailing and has volunteered with the International Sailing Federation providing support to Paralympic Sailing. As natives of Kingsville Ontario, Wally and his wife Cori returned in 2016 to once again reside in their home town.

The Erie St. Clair LHIN has a total population of approximately 636,020 people. It’s one of 14 LHINs across Ontario mandated to plan, integrate, and fund local health services including hospitals, home and community care, community health centres, long-term care homes, mental health and addiction programs, and community support services agencies. The Erie St. Clair LHIN and its Board of Directors are responsible for approximately 1.1 billion dollars of health care services delivered in Chatham-Kent, Sarnia/Lambton, and Windsor/Essex.
